Trips, hotels, and transfers can be booked on the www.makslacelot.lv website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- General Section
1.1. SIA Māksla ceļot acts as a travel agent, serving as an intermediary between clients and tour operators or other service providers; these terms and conditions govern the Client’s use of Māksla ceļot services.
1.2. Every visitor using Māksla ceļot services is required to familiarize themselves with and adhere to these terms of use. By using Māksla ceļot services, you agree to these terms. You may not use Māksla ceļot services if you do not agree to any part of these terms and/or conditions.
1.3. The availability of all tourism services offered by Māksla ceļot depends on tour operators or tourism service providers. A situation may arise where an offer published by Māksla ceļot is no longer actually available—for instance, because there are no remaining seats on the plane or bus, all hotel rooms are booked, etc. In such a case, the booking is declined, and the full amount paid is refunded to the Client.
1.4. The services available through Māksla ceļot consist of travel products offered and organized by tour operators, tourism service providers, hotels, airlines, insurance companies, and car rental agencies.
1.5. Responsibility for the quality of the tourism service purchased through Māksla ceļot lies with the specific tour operator or tourism service provider delivering that service. Although Māksla ceļot reviews feedback regarding the services provided by each tour operator and prevents the publication of questionable offers on its website, Māksla ceļot cannot provide guarantees (express or implied) regarding the quality of tourism services offered by other tour operators and service providers.
1.6. An “Order” refers to any order for tourism services where the Client has made a booking via Māksla ceļot, paid the order in full, and received booking confirmation from the tour operator at the provided email address.
1.7. If the relevant travel service is confirmed and paid for when placing an order on the website, the contractual obligations exist between the Client and the relevant Service Provider; Māksla ceļot is not a party to this contractual relationship.
1.8. The Client agrees that any contract or invoice prepared electronically by Māksla ceļot for the Client is valid and effective without a signature. Upon the request of Māksla ceļot (if necessary), the Client undertakes to sign similar documents in paper format.
- Personal data protection and privacy policy.
2.1. The controller of your personal data is “Māksla ceļot” SIA, Aleksandra Čaka 49, Riga, info@makslacelot.lv, tel. 29246082. Māksla ceļot undertakes to request only the necessary data and to store it securely for only as long as necessary.
Māksla ceļot has taken all necessary measures to ensure the security of personal data and to prevent unauthorized access by third parties.

To book tourism services and insurance and to provide the booked services; to conduct customer satisfaction surveys; and for quality improvement and service development; For this purpose, we collect the following data: passenger’s first name, surname, citizenship, date of birth, personal identification number, passport or ID card number, date of issue of the passport or ID card, expiry date of the passport or ID card, phone number, and e-mail and IP addresses.
2.3.2. To maintain accounting records in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia. For this purpose, we collect the following data: first name, surname, bank account number, personal identification number.
2.3.3. To communicate with you and respond to e-mails, phone calls, and Facebook messages. For this purpose, we collect the following data: e-mail, phone number.
2.3.4. To send you newsletters. For this purpose, we collect the following data: e-mail address, IP address, and information regarding e-mail open statistics.
